Nestle in a second loaf pan so it sits right on top of the towel-covered tofu. Top it with another stack of paper towels or kitchen towel. Place the tofu on top, centered in the pan. While the tofu is pressing, add the olive oil, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, thyme, and salt and pepper, to the baking dish. Optional step: Stir together BBQ sauce with oil. You can also use soy sauce in place of salt if you prefer. Bake for about 30-40 minutes, flipping them halfway through baking. You can add additional flavor if you would like. Add tofu, olive oil, dill, red pepper flakes, black pepper, sesame oil, and soy sauce to large bowl toss to combine. Oil: Olive oil, or whatever your preferred cooking oil may be. I also strongly recommend buying organic tofu, if it’s available. In this recipe I just use oil, salt, and garlic powder. Baked Tofu Ingredients To make this baked tofu recipe, you will need the following ingredients: Tofu: One block of tofu, either firm or extra-firm.
